Wanted Dead or
(Preferably) alive:
Richard Negus fielded Commandos in Production Races
in the early 1970s, scoring on reliability if not outright power. He
now wants his old 750 Commando Racer back! If anybody
can shed light on the whereabouts of the machine (or major parts of
it), Richard would be very pleased to hear about it, possibly even
willing to pay MONEY for it (this last statement was not authorized
by him).
Seriously, if you can help, please ring Richard at Norton Motors, 01889 586 557.
Picture on the right shows the man himself with his 850cc
machine in Barcelona, 1974. |

This is the 750 we
are looking for. Unfortunately, it is the only picture
Richard has of that machine.
It was taken straight after the 1973
Spa 24 hour race, Peter Davies on left, Peter Lovell on right, 2nd
place, 100.07 mph average. If you know where it is now, ring
Richard on 01889 586 557, or send him an
